I got it for christmas this year and it's just gorgeous. Spicy up top, and then it turns into this beautiful resinous wood. It is smell of the first day of winter, combined with the smell of the last day of winter.

A perfect patchouli imo - it smells like this discontinued DS & Durga perfume called My Indian Childhood that I was searching for FOREVER. Warm, amber-y, spicy, earthy. I love her. Second, I love Olo perfumes out of Portland, OR and Nationale 6/7 has been my favorite lately. A rose scent that feels young and has so much depth, reminds me of Portland (and of Nationale) and feels light and lovely on. All of Heather’s scents really do it for me, though.

Its this great woody-spicy-resinous thing perfect for cold winter days. Others I've worn often: Gentle Fluidity Silver: Gorgeous juniper berry opening, but extremely expensive so I spray it on my winter scarf to increase longevity Louis - The Zoo: Incredibly sexy cardamom bomb with orange blosson and absinthe! Perfect for date night. It smells like 3-4 whiskeys feel.

as much as you can - allow yourself to feel the pain. don’t judge yourself for however you’re feeling. keep busy and devote time to yourself but forgive if sometimes you still gotta stay in and sob. build up a beautiful life while grieving at the same time - and eventually you will realize you’re now as fully engaged with joy, pleasure, & passion as you once were with heartbreak !!!

international women’s day this year was for solidarity with women in gaza, & with all palestinians. it’s not too late to start educating yourself, showing up to protests, joining orgs, looking into direct action! also would recommend lewis’ ‘abolish the family’ on a different but related note
