find your nearest local bookstore and check the events calendar - there are constantly book launches where the author will show up and read and sign books! events at some of the smaller shops will sometimes have food and drinks too! books are magic / the strand / astoria bookshop / etc.

- Event at Unnameable Books. They have readings and events almost every night when the weather is nice.
