The most dangerous writing app

Do you have crippling perfectionism and can’t get started writing? Do you have writers block and can’t think of anything? Or are you procrastinating on writing that really important paper? WRITE ON THIS APP. tbh it helps me override all anxiety and perfectionism bc of how it works. Use the timer, and start writing, and make sure you don’t stop or else it deletes all of your progress 😗 good luck lol

I use this app for all my word processing. Managed to get on the iPad/iPhone app beta and I've used it exclusively for writing blog posts and screenplays for years. The Fountain Markdown language is essential and shoves formatting out of the way to reduce distraction.

It's just like John Swartzwelder said: "Since writing is very hard and rewriting is comparatively easy and rather fun, I always write my scripts all the way through as fast as I can, the first day, if possible […] Then the next day, when I get up, the script’s been written. It’s lousy, but it’s a script. The hard part is done."
