thereās so many more, but this is my favorite album to listen to on vinyl for a reasonā¦ also maybe a bold take but the sequencing on wings greatest is so good
Wings greatest 100% one of my favorites of ever idk if the sequencing is so good because I have it memorized and at this point itās just so extremely correct to my brain or if itās actually just divine
thank you yazz for reminding of this albumā¦ iāve been meaning to listen to it ever since i heard āIWRā on the very last episode of my friendās college radio show, more than two years ago. now, i am laying on my floor, blissfully stoned, mouth agape in candle-lit darkness absolutely in awe of this masterpiece of music. every single song feels so intimate, each sound, each word amplified and layered on top of the other, like cake, a sonic confection that makes your heart smile a lot (and your teeth hurt a little) with every bite you take. this album tries to do a lot, and in doing so, becomes irreplaceable. i canāt wait to see what they do next. (also āIWRā is still one of the best songs literally ever!!!! yup)
it was hard for me to even choose an album to post bc theyāre all so good. possibly my favorite band of all time and concrete seconds is def in top 3 best songs ever so pls listen if u havenāt iām begging!!
i keep finding myself feeling embarrassed when i post a lot on this app, but im having fun!!! and the genuineness of humans in this weird little online community is filling such a void in me that began to stop believing that people really are Good and Kind. in other words, iām grateful for everyone here and iām going to keep flooding this silly little app with my silly little words
