the 2014 radiator hospital album, probably because I have so much nostalgia attached to it, but I do think the sequencing is stellar. Punchy rippers up front (and one to close out the album), good tempo variation throughout the middle. a classic in my book

coreydubrowa please do! I think the way some people freak about Alex G is similar to how i listen(ed) to RadHos. plus they’re based in Philly so I’ve been able to see em a handful of times

radiator hospital’s newer stuff deserves sooooo much more love than it gets. just such an undeniable noisy groove to this EP and all the stuff on their latest album.

now thats it’s been out for a bit i think this one is a real true classic, pacing is great, just run the album front to back, you won’t be disappointed…

I love this record more than life itself. As of this month, it is 9 years old, and still holding up so well. Through the years my favorite tracks change, from “Trace Me Onto You” to “Your Pain is Mine Now” to “Chlorine”. So many great memories spawn from this band and this LP. At this point I care less of a reunion, but lucky to have gotten this in the first place.

Maybe not *the best* but it was certainly one of the more enjoyable movie theater experiences I’ve had. December 2019, went to a 6pm weekday showing on a whim after a friend called me to see if I could go. I knew next to nothing about the plot, didn’t realize the whole thing would be in black and white and screened in an almost-square aspect ratio, yet was enthralled for every second of it.
Turned out to be the last movie I saw in theaters pre-pandemic.
