I don’t know how or why this film was made but I am so thankful it was. Nicolas Cage is a treasure (and in this movie a magician who can see the future) recommend if you love to pause a movie and cackle

I never thought Nicholas Cage was remotely attractive, and then I came across this movie. It's also such a great cast, with lines delivered so sharp and fast, with a certain wistfulness that I do think all romcoms ought to have.
Also I love this scene, always makes me giggle.

I have seen 81 Nicolas cage projects. At this point the person I was 1 1/2 years ago when I started this journey is gone. The husk of a person that wakes up and performs my daily tasks is all that remains. Each film I watch takes a small piece of me with it, like chips of marble being slowly hacked from a larger block. I know not what sculpture will await me when I am finished but it will certainly be grand. It must be. something beautiful is going to happen.
In short I recommend you watch upwards of 80 Nic Cage movies.
