I can't overstate how satisfying this game was. It's just a third-person driving game where you're a Hot Wheels car driving on elaborate tracks in a virtual house and doing the sickest fucking flips off jumps. Every level is a different room of the house.
Please tell me i'm not the only one that played with this little game when i was a kid. i completely forgot about it until this vid came up on my youtube recommendation. i still remember what those cars felt like and how it felt to slide them on the plastic board.
old sega video game i used to have on a random hand-me-down disc and have been (on and off) playing for almost two decades.
there's three maps, each map has 4 characters to choose from and you can choose the amount of time you want to spend "driving" (10 minutes being the longest you can pick); choose all of that, now you drive your taxi, you do what a taxi driver does(pick customers up and drop 'em off) but you can jump onto buildings, off clifs, into the ocean, onto moving trains etc etc - it is, as the title says, a crazy taxi( there's also little easter eggs, like the Loch Ness monster swimming around in a lake on the outskirts of the game's version of Las Vegas).
i know all of the maps by heart, and (honestly, more often than i'd like to admit) i "play" the game in my head(when i can't fall asleep, when i'm on the bus and there's a traffic jam etc etc) - all i need to do is close my eyes and start driving
Extreme boat racing arcade game, how could this not be epic? Only pleasant 4D experience Iโve ever had. These randomly used to be in restaurants sometimes too (?) no clue why that isnโt a thing anymore like Iโm trying to go eat bbq then race some mfs while the food digests. Bring this back immediately

This collection of field recordings is a collaborative effort with users of PI.FYI, each of which recorded their own pieces. It features audio from all over the world and exhibits eclectic moments from London Underground commutes to cuckoo bird calls in Dhaka to the sounds of a century-old American diner. Online communities like PI.FYI often represent a diverse set of people, places, and experiences, but together, the submissions form a living collage that highlights the commonalities of modern life - a unifying message for such a tumultuous time. The first track features all of the sounds played at once in an attempt to create an audio snapshot of an online community but in their offline lives. The individual recordings are unedited except for minor gain and compression adjustments for consistency across the collection.
