there are plenty of people that don’t remember what the little dots over the e in “Zoë” are called and that where I swoop in and go “utengorten.” It’s like the aglet of the English alphabet!

Zeugma: a figure of speech in which a word applies to two others in different senses (e.g. John and his driving license expired last week ). I was looking at this video (linked above) where a woman asked what was their favorite literary device and someone in the comments said this. Had to look it up immediately. I'm obsessed.
