keeping a book in YOUR purse/tote at all times

Most of my time is spent waiting for the minutes to pass, and I've grown fond of whipping out a book when it's slow at work, or when I'm waiting for a friend in the car, or in the clinic waiting room waiting for my name to be called, etc. I've finished my 2023 reading goal, and now I keep the shortest book I own in my purse wherever I go. I switch it from time to time, but it's always Annie Ernaux: The Possession or Simple Passion. :) "Since I’ve started carrying a book everywhere, even to something like the Academy Awards, I’ve had a much easier time of it, and the bitterness that shortens your life has been headed off at the pass by the wonderful Paperback. Salt and vinegar chips

These are my favorite food (only slight hyperbole). I recommend, in no order: -Kettle brand -Kettle brand air fried -7/11 -Lay's Kettle Cooked These chips are so strong that they will burn your tongue. They are chemical perfection that make the systems in my body dance. They are so rock and roll. No matter what size the bag, I will probably finish the bag. I always eat the folded ones first, and then move to the unfolded ones.

walking home

If you’re within an hour walk from home, you should just walk home. I understand taking public transit or an Uber there to be on time, but you’re not rushing to get home. Thus, walk.
