Movie about virtual lives and relationships developed by VRChat players, filmed entirely inside of VRChat. Really fun watch. Weird cute & curious. Funny and also rather emotional at times. I really liked this movie but I’ll warn you it kind of made me want to get myself an oculus and abandon my physical existence altogether 🤷♀️
A movie about a world where humans have robots and android companions, and there‘s a secret cafe where the one rule is to treat all guests equally. Nobody knows who is and isn’t an android when you step into the cafe. I cried. A lot.
i love anything that explores multiple realities/paths. An idea that occurred to me after almost getting hit by a car crossing the street: the protagonist is going about their day. We see them cross the street, continue their normal life. We then also see the audiences perspective as they get hit by a car or bicycle. The main character has no idea this happened to them and goes about their day. Are they in a coma? Did it really happen? Is this what death is? Is their soul separated from their body? I don't have any other details f fleshed out but I like the concept.
