I'm not talking about your local NPR affiliate, I mean the low frequency weirdo station playing ethiopian jazz, arabic synthpop, bootleg covers of motown classics sung in Spanish, and skateboarding music (whatever that is). My local station is KUAA 99.9FM, you can listen online! I also love CHIRP (Chicago), KMHD (Portland jazz station), and KXLU (Los Angeles).
Sounds good, feels good, no annoying commercials, and- best of all- it's not spotify.
Devoured the audiobooks recently, strongly recommend. the movie annihilation is based on the first book and is a good indication of the vibe but obv the books are much deeper and richer and very rewarding.
