instead of throwing all your papers into a boring folder ... step one: treat yourself to a little mag (bonus points if its a local publication) step two: put said papers into mag step three: throw mag & paper combo in bag you get constant inspo as when you go to retrieve your papers you can flip thru a couple pages of the mag and!! your papers are safe and not being crumpled

magazine subscriptions

this is the easiest way to increase your amount of fun mail also, a magazine subscription is such a good deal. you can get a whole year of reading for the cost of one month of netflix i love how magazines are an exercise in impermanance. i always have a magazine with me on my commute, no matter the weather. i don't care if it gets rained on, another one will come in the mail soon. magazines are may favorite method of sharing recs irl for the same reason. i love giving magazines to friends and i don't ever worry about getting them back
