had in japan classic tea ceremony style and now i’m a snob, can’t believe everyone in america is drinking matcha lattes instead of making it like this. just a tiny bit of hot (not boiling) water whisked in bowl. drink straight from the bowl. if it’s good quality matcha won’t be bitter at all, just earthy & smooth (photo is bowl after drinking. no time to snap photo before drinking. you gotta drink it right away while it’s warm. focus, appreciate)
One Cup Milk
1/4 cup of water + however much
however much matcha you want (start w less bc you dont want to waist milk with matcha thats too strong!)
1 tbs Brown Sugar Warm up the water. soak your matcha whisk for a few minutes Mix the matcha with 1/4th cup of water until foamy Mix the sugar into the matcha poor the milk over ice. add the matcha. (optionally foam milk and add to the top)
