Stayed up waaaay later than I should have last night watching Red Dawn. It's a solid 80's Cold War movie with Patrick Swayze, Lea Thompson, Charlie Sheen & Jennifer Grey.
Unlike the Tarkovsky version, this one doesnβt require 3 hours and an ego death to enjoy. Soderbergh is an auteur in his own right and at his most artistically assured here. Haunting, romantic, doomed. Beautifully threatening, like the swirling gases of an alien atmosphere. Also, lots of hot people.
i keep finding myself feeling embarrassed when i post a lot on this app, but im having fun!!! and the genuineness of humans in this weird little online community is filling such a void in me that began to stop believing that people really are Good and Kind. in other words, iβm grateful for everyone here and iβm going to keep flooding this silly little app with my silly little words
