Today John, 82 years old and still creating relentlessly, came out with his 23rd solo album– only one year after his last. I am happy to report: it rocks.
I think it’s my favorite complete album he’s done in a while. His ability to make inventive and beautiful work for as long as he has, and never rest on his achievements, is heroic. He’s endlessly inspiring, a creative force I feel lucky to witness. Wishing this man all the best, and already looking forward to the next one.Â
