Trying to ween off of coffee. Cut out sugar two years ago and then creamer only on the weekends but I tap in when the urge calls. When I do, I make my own creamer using heavy whipping cream, cinnamon, and a syrup of sorts sometimes. This time it’s butterscotch.
In the winter, a miel (honey, cinnamon, hot milk), in the summer, iced espresso. If a café has a seasonal drink or a house syrup, I usually order that— my local café has a spruce latte that I really enjoy.
I no longer drink caffeine during the week, which makes a weekend coffee feel especially decadent.
