so markdown editing actually *is*active on mobile; the problem is that on desktop posts written in md on mobile render as plaintext and look crazy

buck_mcgraw in the meantime you can highlight the text and add links that way, but i understand that markdown is a bit more swaggy

I use this app for all my word processing. Managed to get on the iPad/iPhone app beta and I've used it exclusively for writing blog posts and screenplays for years. The Fountain Markdown language is essential and shoves formatting out of the way to reduce distraction.

It’s not perfect but it’s so much nicer to look at than notes imo. Unless you’re on your computer than def TextEdit

I met Erin (@RIOTGRRRL) and Jake (@SLOWDAZZLE) last year after I started using PI.FYI—we organized a meetup before a Jonathan Richman show and immediately clicked over our shared taste in music and similar sensibilities. We started hanging out a lot and had some great times together. I’ve also gotten to know many of their friends, who are all really cool. Erin and Jake started dating a couple of months after the three of us became friends, but our group chat still pops off. Their friendship has meant a lot to me, especially since moving to NYC in 2023, and I really appreciate having them in my life.
