1. hot people, communal tables, slightly distracting vibes
2. communal tables, no outlets :(, lots of people grinding
3. idk much, heard good things, big tables, front room and back room and backyard
4. this location has tables, the other doesn’t. no outlets, no WiFi, still a top pick. baristas all very friendly :)

Partners is the perfect college cafe vibe. Packed to the brim, but worth it for the cardamom roll and matcha. Nice view of the rain outside too. Like you said, no outlets so you gotta be prepared to mysteriously read in public when your laptop dies

Can confirm Stone Street cafe has good vibes. Feels like the inside of a kinfolk magazine in the best way. Good coffee, skip the BEC though.

Excellent coffee, gorgeous aesthetics, no wifi/laptops, just vibes and Italian goods with a no-nonsense menu. The baristas WILL hit on you (or is that just my pretty girl privilege?) but will do so in a respectful, sexy way. Best cafe to yap with a pal at in Montreal - the only downside being that it’s located downtown.

Computer friendly cafes

If you’re within an hour walk from home, you should just walk home. I understand taking public transit or an Uber there to be on time, but you’re not rushing to get home. Thus, walk.
