hardwood floors
so nice to lay on, can always put a fancy rug down if you want something soft. i love when the hardwood floors match the trims around doors and windows. i like brick too, like the way it looks when the sun is shining on it.
and glass block! can’t go wrong with glass block… so sexy.

taterhole spent six months living in a windowless, wall-to-wall carpeted, white-walled room in a basement and it did legitimate psychological and spiritual damage that only a year in a brightly lit-prewar studio apartment could reverse.

cabin has to have hard wood floor!
nothing pisses me THE FUCK OFF more than a beautiful cabin with some WEAK ASS dirt floor. i dont even like stone floor unless its in an area with a high probability of flooding
