I discovered her music a few months ago and have been listening non-stop. My top fav songs of hers are “Destroying Human Nature,” “Pimp Slap,” “Look Down At Your Feet Below,” “Throwing Up.” I seriously love every single song of hers.
I went into a deep dive to try and find out as much about her as I could, but there isn’t much info out there about her. She has 3 albums she created between 2003-2005 with her husband - DJ/producer Maurice Fulton. The genre is described as electropunk.
There are really not many photos out there of her either. I found a series of photos uploaded on flikr by a user named Ramsey from a show she performed in July 2005 in Buffalo, NY (?)They seemed to be nerding out about her music just as much as I am right now🤓
I just now discovered she has a music video for her hit song “Paris Hilton”😮

she needs more love! she makes amazing jazz pop fusion and sings in english and japanese. she is one of those artists who is doing something unique in the space and doing it SO WELL. insanely talented musician. i saw her play when she opened for eliza mclamb, and let's just say i'm so excited for when she drops some of the unreleased songs she played. highly recommend checking out the kabutomushi EP!

I could go on forever…but there is truly nobody like her!! I’ve been a fan of hers since I discovered Be the Cowboy! She puts so much thought and care into everything, from lyrics to composition to performance. Every album has the ‘Mitski’ vibe, but is also able to encapsulate a whole different atmosphere between each! She’s able to encapsulate the most indescribable feelings in such a poetic way and deserves all the recognition in the world! She’s just so so so talented. Saw her the other night and was just in awe :’)

Incredible Australian, mysterious, mashup, experimental musician I discovered one day a few years ago by divine chance while on an Internet Archive all night. In 2005 she released the album Hyperpop, in 2006 Memecore, in 2007 CoreCore, can you believe how long those words have been around?? She did it first. She will do it last. I love her music so so much, her songs make me happy that I live in the 21st century.

lately I have been talking and talking and talking into my voice memos app, thinking about getting some empty tapes and a tape recorder and transferring my form of journaling into this form. my mind moves so fast, it is nice to clear my thoughts in that way :-)

I started a radio show on a community radio station back in August. I have wanted to have a radio show for sooooo long. I am so happy I finally am doing it. The past few months I have had guests every week who are electronic musicians/DJs from western mass (where it is located) but also from all over. I am always looking for more people to come on the show🤓I love djing also it is so magical to me. I have learned so much and have gained confidence in myself.

I recently joined a sauna club, I try to go at least twice a week. It is a small sauna in someone’s backyard. I have to pay a little a month but - worth it. It’s fun to go alone or with a friend. I am meeting new people. I am sitting without my phone or any distractions in the sauna on and off for a couple of hours. I’m sweating more than I ever have.
