the humidity in the summer makes it (and the entire east cost tbh) iffy but its v gay, and decent access to greenery and healthcare! very community oriented as well so you'll find your people much easier than other big cities.
Itโs central to anywhere in America you want to be, but thereโs so much going on here youโll always have new things to do. Just as long of a commute to Manhattan as Brooklyn or Queens, but half the price. Cheap food, weird drinking laws, cuter than youโd expect by a lot. Where my Philadelphia heads at?
God damn I love this city!!!! Come here and ride septa or just WALK everywhere!!!! run along the river, read a book in Clark park, have a fantastic cocktail, go to an underground horror movie show, see a comedy show at a weird dive bar and YES YOU CAN DO ALL THIS IN NYC BUT COME DO IT HERE INSTEAD.
Maybe go full circle and throw a baby shower/1st bday themed party? Lots of games, primary colors, get messy (literally), ball pits, bouncy houses, dancing Elmo, etc
