I saw all those documentaries that Disney put out about their own design process and I wanted to be an imagineer so bad. I now know like I’d say half of all the information that churns out of their self-aggrandizing propaganda machine as a result. Still want to be an imagineer though. Seems cool.
I graduated in animation, did a bunch of different things in design, illustration, photography etc. etc as a freelancer and through full-time jobs designing, eventually falling in love with print design and art direction. I enjoy world-building to an extent, so that thought process really comes in handy for print production and building brands for companies.
Watch mojo and tech zone videos of clickbait technology rlly interested me. Eventually found YouTube videos of ppl making prototypes of inventions they came up with on kickstarter and I wanted to just make shit and get rich just like those guys. Now I’m a student in mechanical engineering working as a fire alarm engineer for the summer. ill have a kickstarter up one day trust
Digital archives, national archives, old movie tickets and photos, notes app archives, old instagram posts or even a big old warehouse. The idea that anything can be worthy of being remembered is beautiful.
