love long bus riders or having some free time to just zone out and look at people. i like imagining their lives and giving them names. lol (me and my best friends loved doing that back home too so it's sweet to do it from the other side of the world)

greeting each other with a simple smile 🙂and then chilling in companionable silence for the duration of your ride. you’re both on your own separate journeys, but for a brief period of time, you’ve got some nice company to enjoy the trip

saying hi to acquaintances in public

I've been on a real journey lately. You see the person across the room and you know them... and you know they know you... but you know that they aren't going to come over and say hi... do it. Take the plunge. However the approach needs to happen, make contact. Don't wait until you see them at the next networking event and say "hey were you at the taco place the other day?" It's surprisingly empowering and frankly kind of an impressive social maneuver. The reward is giddy and powerful and immediate. It makes me feel like I've broken out of the matrix.

HOTNESS as a virtue

My friend and I happened upon this. Meaning, strive to live your life in a way that makes you feel hot. Dress to feel hot. Talk to feel hot. Do whatever you do, but in a way that makes you feel like you're worthy of the love and adoration and crushes and desire you deserve. This does not mean "sexy" necessarily--hotness is always shifting and has many forms. But reach deep inside and you'll find that your own personal method and mode of hotness can always, and most of the time is, an excellent guide.
