My grandma would make tetrazzini for my mom when she was younger and after she made it for me, it became one of my absolute favorite meals. It’s a high effort dish for her to make for just the two of us, so I made it for her this time. :)
it’s an Ayurvedic recipe my friends mum sent to my boyfriend & I once. Whenever I have time to make it it makes me feel so gooooood - always serve w lots of fresh lime.
Google a recipe bc I will explain badly but essentially blend fresh garlic and ginger w olive oil to make a paste, cook red lentils or mung beans (or hell try both?!) with brown rice. Then u mix ur paste with your cooked stuff and serve w lime and fresh chilli. You can make it more soupy or chunkier / like a stew. And sometimes I add spinach or broccoli or veg etc. it’s the best
Especially sweet simple gray cats. No thoughts. Just good vibes. Don’t mind when you cry on them. 🥲
These are mine: Sadie(aka Snarls Barkley) and Marvin(aka Mr. Pink Nose)
Recently my cat went blind and someone suggested keeping a radio playing so she could orient herself around the apartment.
Got this little cute cheap one. Only plays AM/FM and that’s it. No Bluetooth or WiFi. I love it.
No more decision fatigue choosing what to play or wasting my data/battery.
We mainly listen to our public radio station. My cat is very well informed about current events now. 🩷🐱
Gonna try to bake a cake every (other) weekend this spring/summer. Working my way thru Natasha Pickowicz‘s cookbook ‘More Than Cake’ and it’s been a dream.
This is an olive oil cake with crispy capers.
