very different from the previous album, smiley smile, due to the reception that it got. this is when Carl Wilson begins to step up with lead vocals. it was influenced R&B and the main sound is based around piano, organ, and bass. some of my favorites are “I Was Made To Love Her”, “Darlin'”, and “Mama Says”
