Perfection. Takes 5 mins to make and tastes amazing?? Low effort high reward. Best part for sure is the bottom when it isn't quite fully cooked.

so doable during the week or when otherwise busy. tastes pretty good most of the time. can be customized with frosting and fresh fruit. a reminder that things don’t have to be hard or perfect to be worthwhile.

This is the most amazing and low-maintenance little baking book you’ll come across. All the recipes are designed to just be made with a whisk and a mixing bowl. Just little snacking cakes that are perfect as a sweet breakfast or a little Kaffee und Kuchen in the afternoon. I made the vanilla bean cake below. πŸ˜‡

Newspaper archives are great to look at random events and also see how people at the time reacted to them!! Maybe old magazines/films could be cool too? There are also so many different blogs on Substack which look at different bits of history - like https://www.africanhistoryextra.com/?utm_source=global-search, https://florencehrs.substack.com/, and https://15thcfeminist.substack.com/. Definitely browse on Substack to see what's on offer and what style/topics interest you the most! For more general blogs, https://publicdomainreview.org/ and https://daily.jstor.org/ look into quite niche topics. Also the podcast 'The Rest is History' has done loads of episodes on many different topics! Have fun <33
