In the morning. Hopefully you can open your window too and hear birds chirping. I’ve been doing this instead of doom scrolling in the dark for an hour after I wake up and it feels so ~health and wellness~ but is actually just a nice way to start the day. :-)
ive been struggling with getting my mornings started, im either doom scrolling in bed or just snoozing my alarm for hours.
i’ve found that if i start my day by stepping outside while drinking some coffee/tea it changes my day sooooo much. Suddenly life is rainbows and butterflies.
It’s really peaceful, and just a nice way to start your morning, as opposed to immediately grabbing your phone and jumping on TikTok. Ive been doing it for the past week or so ☺️
I’m not talking 5 am cold plunges or hot yoga, I’m saying waking up at 6:30 am to sip your coffee, read your horoscope, and journal. Maybe even stare out the window at the birds on the fire escape. Bliss ⛅️
While hot dog week runs strong on PIFIY, bringing it back to a time honored tradition — THE Nathans Hot Dog Eating Contest. The lore to NHDEC is fun and is worth marvelling at how many hot dogs people can just scarf down.
