I have been watching through my letterboxd watchlist of like 4000 movies in chronological order… so far I’ve made it to 1933 and I’m having so much fun!! the advent of sound hit me like a ton of bricks 😵
My letterboxd watchlist fits perfectly into a single screenshot, so for aesthetic purposes I am honourbound to watch something on it to take it off before I can add anything else. This has actually led me to watch at least One movie so far!!!!
It’s called golden age for a reason!!! but seriously, been on an Old Hollywood kick recently including some gems and newfound faves - Stage Door (1937) I’m looking at you - Linked is my ongoing ranking if you’re a Letterboxd fiend like me :3
