growing up uncomfortable i had always projected and said that taking selfies was cringe or vain, and i know this sounds simple, but as i’ve grown to truly love myself and stop giving a shit about image, i’ve really enjoyed documenting what i look like throughout different stages in my life. ”photoshoots” after gardening sessions have also really helped me separate the idea of vanity vs. appreciation- i recommend it
open app, take immedietly. use back camera if you can stand yourself. your real face reacting to real things is usually more interesting. stop fronting for the camera
this may seem like it makes life very lonely and boring (it does) but i like to think it makes me come across as mysterious and fascinating (it doesn't)
