Live laugh olive paste.
I don't even know if this is italian, but it's mediterranean for sure. Also, not many people love olives but maybe the majority do. It's a good spread for starters/appetizers.
You need black olives, olive oil and vinegar, garlic, and herbs of choice (oregano for example). Then just mash em together, that's what I do.
You can also get store bought olive paste, they're not that bad.
