People watching at Venice Beach + Zebulon different crowds, kinda of similar energy tbh Johnny's Pastrami in West Adams a pastami burger and an ice cold diet coke after a long day is honestly the most perfect meal any one could ask for Pirate Studio Open Decks (at the end of every month) great people, great music. Alamo Drafthose DTLA + Los Feliz 3 as I get older, I become more of a hater of mainstream theaters. Delicious Pizza (West Adams + Hollywood) It's name should be all the explanation you need (just don't get the wings) ChiChi's (K-Town) An introverts nightmare, an extroverts dream. Thai Angel Small bar, awesome people, greater food

🍣Perry’s, AdMo: good sushi, cute rooftop $$ 🐯Tiger Fork, Shaw Blagden Alley: good drinks, upscale Hong Kong street food $$ 🥩Bar Spero, Penn Quarter/east end area: one of the best meals I’ve ever had, but definitely expensive. Seafood & grill food. Also was rated one of the top 5 new restaurants in the US last year $$$$ 🌻Gypsy Kitchen, 14th St: really good small shareable plates, nice rooftop/outdoor seating esp. during sunset, good drinks  $$$ ✨Dlena, mt Vernon: amazing margs (10/10) and food. Good outdoor seating and inside is fun.  $$ 🌍Maydan, FL Ave: so good. Went with banana Dans $$$ 🌵Vera, Ivy City (Mexican/Mediterranean fusion): SO good. Def upscale, went for kittys bday. Food was bomb and was served the largest gin drink in the world. If you go late enough, it turns into a full service bar upstairs and a separate club/bar downstairs $$$$ 🥀El Secreto de Rosita, U Street: cute inside with nice booths/ambiance (good for a date), burratta flatbread was bomb, brunch on the weekends and a good happy hour, waitress told me their turning the extension next door into a fine dining section soon  $$ 👯‍♀️Jane Jane (14th street): great drinks and a cozy environment. Fills up fast, especially at night, and doesn’t take reservations but you can put your name on a waiting list. Right on 14th so you can hit Aslin or somewhere else while you wait.  🫒Green Zone (AdMo): one of my favorite bars in the city. Has awesome middle eastern music and small plates but fills up very fast. Indoor & outdoor seating, doesn’t take reservations so expect to stand somewhere upstairs unless you go early for a table.  💕Thip Khao (14th st): delicious Laotian food and really good portions. fair prices too

😃
food: - Peche (some of the most creative happy hour cocktails and French bites downtown, get the mac and cheese) - Paprika ATX (hands down my favorite tacos in the city, go to their pop up at Long Play Lounge on Friday/Saturday nights) - Kinda Tropical (very chic and hip bar and cafe outfitted from an old gas station) bars - if you like divey: Workhorse, Shangri-La, Side Bar, Better Days - if you like fancy: In Plain Sight, Garage, Holiday night: - Club Eternal (the best damn sound system in all of Texas)

The way I want to elope, tell no one, not even family. Announce a wedding a year later, and then announce that we're already married and have been for a year during the reception is my dream scenario. I also want to do the same thing with a pregnancy (just keep it secret until the kid comes) but that'll be a bit harder :/
It’s not just for marriages

I feel like all music nerds join their college radio station because their friends no longer want to hear them rave about some underground artist who hasn't made music since 2011... I'm one of those music nerds. Listen to particollective every Wednesday from 7-8pm PST on 22westmedia.com - davyn
