If you’re in Lisbon I rate the Gulbenkian is the best place for some culture, some sun, a café pingado and some sweet ducks. One was sitting next to me and I watched his wings hinge open and close as he breathed.
I was walking home from a grocery shop this afternoon and spotted the coolest looking ducks I have ever seen in my life. I stopped there and then and immediately googled "Sheffield Cool Ducks". They are called Mandarin Ducks and they were so pretty the rest of my day has genuinely been so nice just because I know they exist now :)

My favourite duck! Look at the size of that bill! If you’re looking for a hobby for 2025 I could not recommend birdwatching more — there’s so many silly guys out there just waiting to make your day!
