idk if it’s the weirdest but there are many objectively uncomfortable scenes and it’s not a sweet romcom or fun PG flick etc… but it’s def a comfort film for me! i think it’s the underlying self empowerment themes? (plus the nostalgia; i loved it as a teenager)

Feels like the type of movie this crowd would be into if you haven’t seen it already. Indie. Has Chloë Sevigny AND Natasha Lyonne, Club kids, and murder. Based on a true story but it’s a wild ride twisting and turning through the 80s and 90s queer nightlife scene and the horrors of the day. Available on Tubi
