"I ended up finding horses really compelling. They are so big but so nervous. Powerful and fragile. Did you know that horses dislike stepping in puddles? It's because they can't tell how deep they are, and they fear they'll break a leg. Does every horse have to learn this? Or are they born knowing? How do you learn what a feeling means?" As both a girl kisser and a Horse Girl™, this comic speaks to me on a spiritual level.
If you think the horses neck is long enough; IT'S NOT. IT HAS TO REACH ALL THE WAY TO THE GROUND WITH ITS WEIRD LONG HEAD WHILE STANDING ON ITS WEIRD LONG LEGS
omg i've been thinking about this comic since i saw it back in 2020. i forgot about the title and only remembered the illustrations, and i couldn't look for it. it's difficult to explain such a meaningful comic in words. thank u for sharing this
omg I cannot draw a horse to save my life. Everything else - no problem, I'll draw something legible enough, eventually with enough practice, but not horses, and I don't know why.
the love i have for these creatures is something so deep and meaningful i can’t describe it .there’s a horse girl within me trying to get out and i think i need to let her fly
no idea what sparked this but i just had a random meltdown over baseball. the next note after this one was also abt baseball so i think i was just going thru something
one of the best concept albums of all time. follows a young woman named Ethel Cain (the character, not the artist) as she encounters various men and eventually meets her violent death at the hands of one of the men. truly visceral and even disturbing at some parts but so so good, really recommend giving it a listen
