Been meaning to check out both 30 Days of Night and Jennifer's Body! Our local indie theater screened Nosferatu and had local musicians preform an original live soundtrack. Amazing. Tried Buffy and bounced off it. Need to try harder. Love what we do in the shadows. Let the Right One In is probably my favorite vampire movie of all time.

lucius late response here but let me know if you watch! i promise you will LOVE. jennifer's body is seriously a comfort movie for me at this point, sooo campy and fun. 30 days of night is a wild one. WOW that nosferatu screening sounds incredible, i'm so glad you were able to experience this in person šŸ„¹

The vampire is so versatile so there isn't one way to depict them as long as you adhere the core theme/conflict of their nature. Some favorites:
Dracula (book and movie) Byzantium (invented a brand new mythology) Bones and All The Hunger Jennifer's Body Shiki Midnight Mass #DRCL Midnight Children Happiness Let the Right One In
Reading Fledgling rn and digging it, and I expect Robert Eggers's Nosferatu will be on this list.
