Rec'd on 🔑 collectors - what‘s your favourite object to collect and why?

cheap from places you travel to and often lots to choose from. i even collect pretty postcards from antique stores and thrift stores, bonus points if there’s illegible cursive writing on the back from the 1920s!

what a weird shared niche interest!!! I love collecting vintage postcards and deciphering them. i once picked one up in an alleyway at 2am in venice, italy that was dated ON MY BIRTHDAY.. glitch in the matrix fr

annien love this! as a child I used to go to antique shops and spend hours looking through postcards - still got the collection. I found a postcard organiser in Muji, thinking of storing them that way

Postcards

Both modern and vintage. Modern ones are cheap souvenirs to get whenever I travel and are a great way to cover my walls. Vintage ones are fun since they give a little window into ordinary people’s lives in the past (especially if they have writing on them)
