Talking to one of your friends and going over the contents of your day/week/month only for it to evolve into a conversation about social, cultural and familial pressures, habits, relationships, and aspirations is so incredibly underrated. More rewarding than therapy as well imo because you get to listen to someone else‘s mind wander in the same direction as your own. (Crane emoji cus it’s rly constructive)

my friends and I gather semi-regularly to have what we call debrief sessions where we just look through someone elses phone (usually their tik tok reposts and collections) and they're so fun. its such a fun way to learn little things you didn't know about your friends before and just yap abt the things you like

“your 14yo comes to you and says they want to quit tennis (been doing since 8). What do you do?” And so on and so forth, the friend answering, you giving more detail or the reaction etc etc until situation is exhausted Fun way to explore situations you are not (yet) in, to get to know your friends better, to communally think through how to live in the world and with people 💞
