it’s a looping machine and DAW, incredible app. I found a bunch of hacked ariana grande studio vocal takes on the Russian facebook ВКонтакте another great app - (you can find anything). while fleshing out the melody for a song Ariana sings only tones and vowels- no lyrics. great for looping divine harmonic gregorian chants

Auto-Tune gets all the attention, but this other program from Antares is very charming, with the eldritch sounds you can produce by reshaping different points of a digital throat to alter your voice. You can also play the harmonica or any other noisemaker through it. And how can you beat a program that's just called 'Throat'!!

this is the best shit ever !! comes with so many useful features,, like this cool little widget where you can record a demo on your phone from your lock screen—i was just fiddling and actually ended up with a 9 min long concept demo which i spent hours arranging on garage band just for my E string to snap while recording :/
not the point tho lol this thing is fkn amazing,, i’ve known about it for a whilee but only started using it recently because recording progressions on my phone just to capture an idea outside of a daw has been a part of my process for a while and this makes it soo much easier—it even picks up the bpm and key your playing in like ??? im in lovvveee; you can even write notes, pitch up n down, eq! and generate stems!! and add new versions to each projects !!???

⭐if you’re in the office 4HL you probably have regular access to a colour laser printer and a comb binder. take an hour to rummage in the copy room, go off-screen and make any book you want on company dime. print full colour copies of medieval treatise. learning the process is fun, also rite-like.
