How many tattoos do y'all have? Which one hurt the most? I got my first tattoo when I was 16, it's a huge Egyptian cross on my chest with wings and planets, it hurt like shit but I don't regret it 😘
I’ve got eight and I would say the neo tribalism I got on my hip bones that run up to my ribs hurt the most. Anything on top the bones are hell for me.
I got my first tattoo when I was 21 and decided to get a huge american traditional dagger on my right forearm. In hindsight that was a very bold place to get my first tattoo lol. As time has gone on I've tried all different types of styles - I have some stick and pokes, cybersigilism, and some nature inspired pieces. None of them have been super painful but I just started a back piece last year (pictured below) that definitely had some ouch moments, particularly near the spine.
I have 16. Mostly I just have worked with good artists and told them roughly what I want and turn them loose and fill in spots. They all hurt, my elbow was not pleasant but the bony part of my forearm was my personal worst. It’s been a year since I got one but I’m sure I’ll get more sometime.
i think i have 9 at this point? honestly babe you only get one body during your time on earth so you might as well do what you want with it. have a favorite band? get a symbol of them put on your body forever. a favorite painting? steal that shit and put it on your arm. none of mine have very deep meaning but that’s okay because i like them. i just think they look neat! that’s how you decide, just take up all the space on your skin with shit you think looks cool. the pain depends on the part of the body; i think my most painful was my thigh and my least painful was probably the back of my calf. also color tats hurt a bit more than black so be conscious of that. and i would definitely get another. they’re absolutely addicting.
I'm tired of other social media where people just want to be famous or fill that emotional void that social media usually leave when nothing interesting happens. I want something that feels more casual.
What has helped me is being aware that the process hurts no matter what.
And also be aware that at some point it will stop hurting, to know that if it is something that you can no longer control you must let go, and from there, continue with your life, focus on yourself! New experiences bring new thoughts, you just have to stay distracted and everything will pass.
