“search party” on hbo max

wonderfully weird, takes place in nyc, so funny in a cringe yet very real/relatable sort of way. stars Alia Shawkat from arrested development. 5 seasons and it’s finished so u dont have to worry about cancellation. so good! (ps i’m only on s2 but i’m watching with my gf who has seen it all and rewatching it with me, so take her rewatch as a co-rec!)

Take a photo for a stranger

Ever feel the urge to do something nice but your inner dialogue immediately talks you out of it? I saw this couple with a tripod trying to get the perfect photo.i snapped some candids before i asked them if they needed any help. Language barrier almost got us but we walked each other through it. They were grateful. SO INCREDIBLY grateful. There’s still good people in this world. Sometimes it takes one to meet one. Also how cute are they? I love, love!

Thought i was getting kidnapped.

I obviously didn’t. The people were so nice. the front desk girl at the gym I went to thought I was Italian so she kept speaking to me in that language the remainder of my stay. I never corrected her. I wanted a friend 😂
