Last night went exactly as planned. About 70-80ish people in one space together, dancing enjoying the sounds from the Djβs and each others company. Love was in the air.
Ethan and I spun our best set yet (I think) and we even paused at 12:00am to wish Adam a Happy birthday - he was anxious about the attention at first but he quickly overcame and began to smile as we all sang to him.
We made our way to Winnieβs around 2:15 and did exactly as I said - Stella Artois, vodka cran and I think someon had a modelo(?) we sang Take it or Leave it by the strokes and closed the night out with Radioheads Creep (duh!)

I'm throwing one at my university! Its gonna be herstorical.β¨οΈ
Its cold and dreary here in the Northeast US. People are sad, isolated and lacking community, so its time to party!! Let looose and celebrate the women who have come before us, the women we are or love and fill ourselves up with the love of our community.β€οΈ
There will trivia, prizes, a costume contest, drag queens, and a local femme DJ. I'm also making a zine to hand out on "How to Smash the Patriarchy." I have a lot of resources for this since I'm planning it through our DEI department but please celebrate in anyway you can. Get creative and get dancing!!!πππππ
