as soon as exams are over, i get immediately happier. the sun is shining, i went out for a sandwich picnic with my partner yesterday and we played frisbee, and iβm listening to sugar ray and cake and rob zombie (always gets me in the summer mood). iβm volunteering at two music festivals this summer so i get to sit in the sunshine and listen to concerts for free. this summer is all about short shorts and cowboy hats and long hippie skirts and bringing my cd player to the park.
My dad always invites me to his fave rock bandsβ concerts that happen to be in town, and honestly i know so few of them but I always say yes. sometimes I brush up on the discography but more often than not I just kinda raw dog the experience. Like tonight, we saw IQ and wow, the guitarist was actually ablaze he was so good. Sometimes itβs nice to just accompany someone to something they really enjoy. you Might end up enjoying it too!!! I have, every time.
