Honestly the nostalgia is great, almost all of the gameplay (and parts of the ui) are the same as 20 years ago.
It’s got some fun little daily tasks and chores you can do to keep yourself and your pet busy.
And most importantly some crazy shit is about to go down. Neopets has been gearing up for a new event coming and it may really shake things up, as well as bring in older characters from the site.

I spent so much time on neopets. My mum also saw me playing and got very into the games so she would help me earn neopoints on hassee bounce and sutek's tomb. The world building in this game was so impressive like to name a few things you get a house, a bank account a safety deposit box, the stock market, vacations, marketplaces, personal customisable forums (where I part-taught myself html coding at age idk 10), games, lore, battles... They just don't make em like this anymore

think of neopets, but better. back in the day when every home had one PC if you were lucky, petpet park was a shining star of the internet. i remember not being able to sleep as a child and sneaking down to our clunky dell to redeem my daily spins on the wheels of god knows what. i remember petpet park vividly— my character was a pinixy (image attached below) but green. if i remember correctly, despite being 7, i think her name was dolores (big cranberries house i live in) and she was my goat (before we had such a terminology to use so loosely). i can remember there was little areas in the game; one was a pirate fair, one was a north-pole-polar-express area where you could get little treats…. honestly, i’m 100% sure i’m forgetting more. the map was so beautiful and interactive and even without a membership, the game was insanely fun. BRING IT BACK!!!! who do i have to contact to get petpet park back
