big energy work girlie here, I don’t have any certifications so I typically go to open classes in the city &/or ask friends that are reiki practitioners. You have to go to somebody you trust & truly feel comfortable with, also staying open to what may happen. I’ve had some people try that felt very disingenuous and kinda scammy but, that never deterred me bc of my own personal experiences previously. Best recent session happened to be a group soundbath!! we laid down for 30 minutes, then she came around the space and hovered over us while doing something (idk my eyes were closed I was going THRU it) and I left feeling 10x better, half of the things stressing me no longer seemed that big and it pivoted me. It could just be that I had 60 minutes to breathe, relax and think while somebody was gently guiding me, who knows- the human mind is a complex thing. Also used to work w a reiki practitioner who would somehow overhear thoughts and even bring it up (she’s freaked out several ladies) and it still trips me out. I don’t quite understand but I’ve been going back bc i like how it makes me feel!!

Christian reiki energy healing
I recently went to a reiki master named Alicia Perkins in Echo Park. Ngl I wasn't sure if it was all woo-woo but I sobbed after and then slept for 24 hours. She reopened my chakras and I actually felt realigned after. It's real.

used to work at a bougie spa that also had energy work like reiki, one time somebody from the security/defense team of the states/somebody in the mil ????? came in and we had a very brief conversation about how she followed a lot of these practices, it still makes me feel weird as hell bc why did she have to do the job reveal.

Clarity by Vie
Vie is an amazing energy worker/healer based in California, who offers their services via zoom calls to anybody who’s interested. I was gifted a 30 minute reading for Christmas, and It was really such a nice experience. She goes through your natal chart, pulls cards, and recommends different healing practices that she might seem applicable to your energy. I was really impressed by everything she had to say, and although this was my first time doing something like this so in depth, I got some very important things out of it in terms of my own spiritual “purpose”, etc. (those things in your spirit that you always know are there, but are sometimes hard to explain or put into words)...I would recommend to anybody who might be going through any sort of spiritual awakening, as I think lots of us have spent a lot of time in our own head this past year!
