i got this fancy balm from the indie yarn company the wandering flock and it is so dreamy and smells like bergamot, i always keep it in my knitting bag! my dry skin drinks it right up

this stuff is so good, i saw someone talking about it years ago on twitter when people were asking for help with falling asleep. it's no xanax but it smells like a field of lavender. i usually wear it to bed but it you put it on in the morning it lasts all day. beware of the glittery/sparkly residue though, i didn't know what was going on with the inside of my clothes but i think it adds to the vibe.

I found this hippie lip balm at Whole Foods a year or so ago and it has become my go-to. Knowing that my lips smell like vanilla chai IS very soothing to me, thank you Soothing Touch.

some people say rose scent smells like old people but i donโt think so???? to me itโs so relaxing and pretty! i tend to avoid vanilla or super sweet scents because they give me headaches. citrus/woodsy smells are great too, but something about rose just feels like me!!
this discontinued crabtree & evelyn lotion was gifted to me like 10 years ago and i am always thinking about itโฆ bring her back!!!!

I went to the Korean spa for the first time with my bestie last night and it was a profoundly nourishing experience on every level. we were having deep heart to hearts while schvitzing it out in the sauna and it felt like my soul was being cleansed. there are these tubs of different temperatures and this basin full of mugwort water with empty bowls so you can pour it over yourself, and all these magical heated rooms with different scents and properties. I also saw people carrying giant bottles of spa water with chopped mango and mint and they were like $20 each but they looked sooo good. next time I also want to go to the Korean restaurant inside and the tea room.

this movie really defined an entire formative era of my life. I was an awkward frizzy-haired tween with glasses when this came out and I saw so much of myself in Mia. my best friend and I had the soundtrack basically memorized (Aaron Carterโs cover of Itty Bitty Little Pretty One lives rent free in my head, as does Miracles Happen by Myra). the love interest Michael (aka Robert Schartzman of Rooney fame) imprinted on my eros and continues to influence my type in masc women to this day. the movie also led me to the (superior if Iโm being honest) book series, which played a HUGE role in shaping my taste and sense of humor and interest in pop culture references
