Did Coach drop the coolest bag of the year? Yes. It’s also a bargain (comparatively) as opposed to other hot girl bags™️ — The Row Margaux +$3,000 / Saint Laurent Sac De Jour +$3,000 / Hermes Birkin $HAHAHAHA — all are competing with a ~$700-ish bag. I absolutely love when brands put out items that punch way above their price range. And Coach‘s leather game has been incredible for years now, even if the bags they packaged the leather in weren’t always as incredible. Not saying you should go drop the $ tomorrow, but I do think if a bag was on your radar, this is the best bang for your buck in terms of stepping into the higher-end bag game. Also did we acquire one for wifey today? — HELL YEAH WE DID.

Coach soho hobo preferably from 2006

it is my most used accessory by FAR. it holds everything. it looks chic. theres 1 million of them on resale sites, in colors such as black white brown and red but also purple patchwork monogram. got mine for $10 at goodwill. being strategic on therealreal

buying secondhand from places like the TRR (but also consignment stores, vintage shops, etc) only sucks if you're only interested in whatever's trendy, especially whatever's trendy in the designer space. I snagged a great, practically new olive green leather tote from Cuyana for over half the retail price. Know what you like!!!

I wish I knew why, but the following has worked for me: -A lot of people say to just go to stuff but it does work! Finding an event that is relevant to your interests, and going solo guarantees a good time - you’ll either have a chill time by yourself or will get to chatting with other people that went alone too. I went to an art studio opening party because they had a build your own flower bouquet arrangement set up, with a still life drawing session of your bouquet afterward. I made a lovely friend who went alone too! Even if I didn’t meet anyone, it wouldn’t be a lost cause because I still went to something that was enjoyable for me on my own. -Maybe more of a deeper cut option that’s not always possible, but I’ve also met folks that are friends of friends. Having that person in common does make things a lot easier. Wishing you the best of luck! 🤠
