Cheating a little here I guess and using this q for some show and tell but thought Iβd share this as it came to my mind- was on a trip a month ago out west and a town where I was staying in the desert had this gift shop with crates of old issues of this magazine- unfortunately it seems they went defunct in the 80s but I could have spent forever flipping through these- the photography is amazing and there are lots of articles about all things desert lifestyle related, profiles, old ads for outdoor products/travel companies, classifieds, etc in here. Had to leave with one- such a cool blast from the past! Love smaller regional interest, lifestyle type stuff like this.
a delightful feast for the mind and the eyes.
interesting & informative articles with tons of art sprinkled on every page.
esotericism, philosophy, history-feminine focused but definitely for everyone.
more in the format of a newspaper-thereβs always a fun crossword on the back!
itβs something to look forward to in the mailbox every month and a lovely little reminder to slow down & take time for yourself in this wildly beautiful and terrifying digital age.
Microplaning garlic is amazing but microplaning frozen peaches to make shaved ice peach incredible. I love my little Olympus xa point and shoot camera. Fits in my pocket and perfect for quick snaps that turn out well!
maybe youve heard of the fujifilm x100 also know as the βtik tokβ camera but it is for good reason. they have built in colour profiles that mimic film stocks. for a cheaper alternative you could try the fujifilm xt30.
