flat_white short for brilliant! found out abt it from a book set in the late 70s/early 80s, it’s basically just another way to say something’s cool

Whatever happened to describing something as ”dandy” or exclaiming “well, i declare”? I want to be a bit antiquated without being seen as silly. Is that too much to ask? I suppose this is my love of Norm Macdonald rearing its head
