I place this at the very honoured position of my favourite song because it’s a positive one and I’m usually gloomy. It’s carefree RnB from 2009, sweet, playful and girly. I love how innocent and simply romantic it is. The music video feels like everyone including the video FX person had a good time making it. Basically the mindset I’d like to be in all the time if I could.
i loveeee Love Deluxe in its entirety but this is the song that i’ve had on repeat recently! it’s such an enjoyable listening experience, it’s almost meditative and the combination of an all consuming love that’s so intense it’s almost devotional with the glitter of nostalgia… it could bring me to tears
Initially I thought this song was beautiful and had a longing to it I couldn't quite comprehend. Then I decided to look up the word "limerence" and suddenly the vocal samples in it make me actively want to burst into tears. I love it.
