I know I’m late to the game but this movie is so beautiful. How does this look so good even decades later, a lot of movies that are made today look so terrible even with all the technological advancements. This movie is a piece of history a work of art it’s literally everything. Julie Andrew as Maria is so perfect, thinking about it makes me cry.

bc it’s what I originally wanted when I first went to college at 17 but I was scared to make writing my job and got a B.S. in Nutrition instead lol Now the goal is an eventual PhD in Victorian Literature but I’m just happy to have made it through this part at 32!
